2024 Election Notice

I, Marla R. Young, Box Elder County Clerk hereby give notice pursuant to Utah Election Code 20A-5-101 of the General Election to be held on Tuesday November 5, 2024. ● Notice is hereby given of the offices to be filled at the regular General Election along with the corresponding terms, filing fees, and filing locations.

● Notice is given of the Declaration of Candidacy filing period for qualified political party candidates begins on Tuesday January 2, 2024 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday January 8, 2024, and;

● The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for state and local school board candidates begins on Tuesday January 2, 2024 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday January 8, 2024, and;

● The Declaration of Candidacy period for justices and judges of a court of records begins Wednesday July 01, 2024 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday July 15, 2024, and;

● The Declaration of Intent to Gather Signatures period for qualified political party candidates begins on Tuesday January 2, 2024 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday January 8, 2024, and;

● Candidates must submit nomination petition signatures no later than 14 days before the day on which the qualified political party holds its convention to select candidates for the elective office.
