  • We expect another day of very cold temperatures and wind chills again Monday night into Tuesday morning across northern Utah.

Box Elder County Roads department has been working hard to clear county roads for over 24 hours, however, drifting snow has made it difficult to keep roads cleared.

Box Elder Sheriff's Department continues to respond and assist with emergency calls throughout the county.

We recommend that all Box Elder residents check on neighbors especially those who are vulnerable to make  sure they are staying warm and have the basic necessities needed.  If citizens have a need to travel we recommend that they have an emergency kit in their vehicle and dress appropriately for extremely cold temperatures.

If you find an immediate Emergency please call 911, other needs can be called in to 435-734-3800.
