Box Elder County has an opening for a Seasonal Flagger/Laborer. The Seasonal Flagger/Laborer performs temporary traffic control operations such as flagging. Must be a competent driver and able set up traffic control signage. Must be willing and able to stand for long periods of time in the heat of the day. Must be willing and able to do physical labor such as shoveling, pot hole repair, and concrete work. Must be able to run mobile equipment such as rollers and brooms.
Those interested in this position must have a valid State of Utah Driver License. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen. Applicants must have the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Ability to pass the flagger certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Ability to pass the flagger certification.
