Emergency Notification System

Box Elder County has a system to contact the public by telephone in the event of an emergency. This system allows us to telephone geographically-targeted areas of the County in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action and where rapid and accurate notification to citizens is essential for life safety. Emergencies include but not limited to; Water contamination, Utility outage, Evacuation notice, Missing persons, Fire, Flood, Bomb threat, Hostage situation, Chemical spill and Gas leaks.

By clicking submit above I am giving Box Elder County permission to use my telephone numbers to provide me with significant emergency information pertinent to myself, my family, my residence or business located in Box Elder County. Box Elder County agrees to only use the numbers provided for emergency notification use.

Cellular or VoIP phone numbers are not currently in the system database. If you would like to be contacted on your cellular or VoIP phone, you must register your number. Traditional landlines are in the database but are constantly changing and could be outdated. To assure your home/business phone number is in the system please enter it here. Please note that this particular service is only for businesses and residences in Box Elder County. While phone numbers can be outside of this service area, you must enter a valid address within the boundaries of the county to be eligible for the service.
